Focus Graphite Advances Lac Knife Toward Construction Readiness with Up to C$1.93 Million in Combined Government Infrastructure Support

Ottawa, Ontario, Oct 15, 2026 - Focus Graphite Inc. (TSXV: FMS) (OTCQB: FCSMF) (FSE: FKC0) ("Focus" or the "Company"), a Canadian developer of high-grade flake graphite deposits and advanced graphite materials for battery, defence, and industrial applications, is pleased to announce the engagement of Construction & Expertise PG ("PG") to advance geotechnical investigations and detailed engineering for the proposed all-season access road to its flagship Lac Knife Graphite Project ("Lac Knife" or the "Project") in Quebec. The engagement marks an important step toward construction readiness and forms part of a broader infrastructure initiative supported by up to C$1,932,750 in combined non-dilutive federal and provincial funding. This includes newly approved non-repayable financial assistance of up to C$554,050 from the Societe du Plan Nord ("SPN"), representing 50% of eligible access road planning and development costs under its Northern Infrastructure Fund in Support of the Mining Sector (Enveloppe nordique d'infrastructures en appui au secteur minier), and previously announced support of up to C$1,378,700 from Natural Resources Canada ("NRCan") through its First and Last Mile Fund ("FLMF"). The provincial contribution is dedicated exclusively to the access road, while the federal funding supports pre-construction planning for both the road and the electrical infrastructure required to connect Lac Knife to Hydro-Quebec's power network. Together, these complementary investments are helping advance the transportation and energy infrastructure necessary for Lac Knife's development while allowing the Company to preserve capital for its broader project development and advanced materials strategy. Advancing Lac Knife's Access Road Toward Construction Readiness The proposed all-weather gravel access road will connect the Lac Knife Project site to Highway 389, providing reliable year-round access to support future mine construction, personnel transportation, equipment mobilization and the eventual transportation of graphite concentrate. PG's mandate encompasses geotechnical and geophysical investigations, subsurface characterization, evaluation of construction materials and engineering activities required to advance a construction-ready access road design. Key deliverables will include preliminary and final engineering drawings, technical specifications, a bill of quantities, detailed cost estimates, a construction schedule and tender documents to support future construction planning and procurement. The program includes: Approximately eleven (11) kilometres of geophysical investigations using seismic refraction and multichannel analysis of surface waves (MASW), including associated data processing, interpretation and technical reporting. Approximately sixty (60) geotechnical test pits along the proposed road corridor to characterize subsurface conditions, assess soil and foundation properties, and inform road design requirements. Reconnaissance and sampling of potential borrow material sources, supported by laboratory testing of foundation soils and construction materials to evaluate their suitability for road construction. Targeted geotechnical drilling at critical locations along the proposed road corridor, where warranted by field investigation results and subject to additional authorization. High-resolution drone-based topographic surveys of the proposed road corridor and any revised alignments, to support final engineering design and future construction planning. Development of geotechnical profiles, pavement design recommendations and associated technical reporting to support detailed road and drainage engineering. The field investigation program has advanced substantially, generating critical technical data to refine engineering designs, optimize construction requirements and support the next phase of project development. "Infrastructure is what transforms a mineral resource into a strategic asset," said Dean Hanisch, Chief Executive Officer of Focus Graphite. "With PG advancing the technical work required for our access road, we are translating project planning into tangible steps towards construction readiness. The support of the Governments of Québec and Canada allows us to advance this essential infrastructure while maintaining a disciplined approach to capital allocation and project development." The coordinated advancement of road access and grid connection planning is intended to strengthen Lac Knife's development readiness, reduce infrastructure-related uncertainty and establish the technical foundation for future construction. "Support from two levels of government for complementary infrastructure initiatives underscores the strategic importance of advancing Lac Knife," said Jason Latkowcer, Vice President, Corporate Development of Focus Graphite. "We are systematically removing barriers to development, reducing risk and strengthening Lac Knife's investment case, while leveraging non-dilutive funding to minimize shareholder dilution." Responsible Infrastructure Development The Lac Knife Project is located on the Nitassinan, the ancestral lands of the Innu Takuaikan Uashat mak Mani-utenam ("ITUM"). Focus has maintained a collaborative relationship with ITUM since entering into a Pre-Development Agreement in 2014 and continues to advance project planning in collaboration with the community. The Company's infrastructure strategy prioritizes the use of existing transportation corridors wherever practical, with the objective of minimizing new environmental disturbance while supporting responsible project development. The proposed access road and electrical connection are fundamental components of Lac Knife's long-term development strategy. Together, they are intended to establish reliable year-round access and support the transition toward grid-connected mining and processing operations. Lac Knife hosts one of North America's highest-grade natural graphite deposits and serves as the upstream foundation of Focus Graphite's strategy to establish an integrated advanced graphite materials platform serving battery, defence, nuclear energy and advanced manufacturing supply chains. New Delta One serviceware Designed around you: More choice to travel your way  The refreshed Delta One experience gives customers greater control over how they dine and rest while traveling. Expanded pre-select options include lighter selections, such as protein-added salads, while customers on long-haul flights who prefer to maximize sleep can opt to skip the morning meal service and instead enjoy a coffee and croissant before landing.  Delta also gives customers more flexibility to plan, extending pre-select entrée ordering to 18 hours before departure — six hours closer to departure than before, making Delta the only U.S. carrier to offer a pre-order window this close to flight time.  “Luxury is about having the experience designed around you — today’s premium traveler values choice as much as quality,” said Kristen Manion Taylor, SVP – Brand Experience. “These enhancements offer greater flexibility, ensuring every Delta One customer can enjoy the journey in the way that suits them best.” Intentional touches In addition to the meal, a new ‘sip and settle’ moment — hot towel, warm nuts and a preferred beverage — is intentionally placed on the console, allowing customers to go about their pre-dining ritual(s) without interruption. Furthermore, a fresh cracked pepper service delivered during the first course and saucières holding side sauces to complement main proteins have been added to create greater flexibility without sacrificing the experience.  New, iconic beverage partners and refreshed amenities  Blanton’s — an iconic Kentucky Bourbon — on board Dec. 1  As the first and only airline to welcome Blanton’s, one of bourbon’s most coveted labels, Delta One is proud to serve this exceptional single-barrel bourbon, whose limited production and global demand have made it a prized favorite among both collectors and connoisseurs.  From the iconic horse-and-jockey stopper to its tradition of inspecting, filling, sealing and labeling every bottle by hand, Blanton's and Delta are deeply committed to preserving and celebrating heritage. Bottled at 93 proof, the single-barrel bourbon features powerful dry vanilla notes in harmony with hints of honey amid strong caramel and corn.  Napa icons, global classics take flight Delta is moving from four wine rotations each year to two, ensuring greater consistency for both customers and flight attendants. In partnership with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson and loyal SkyMiles Members, 1,600 wines were curated into a final selection of 13 wines from 11 wineries featured on board between October 2026 and September 2027.  The new Delta One wine program was selected to complement the reimagined culinary experience and features iconic Napa wines, such as Silver Oak, retailing at over $200 per bottle. This, in addition to expanding the Champagne Taittinger partnership — now offered when flying in domestic Delta One — rounds out our most premium wine investment to date. Classic mocktails and cocktails  A curated cocktail and mocktail program — designed to meet growing demand for non-alcoholic beverages — features both alcoholic and non-alcoholic interpretations of two refreshing classics, the Hugo Spritz and the Paloma.  Building on the strong popularity of mocktails served in the Delta One Lounge, these thoughtfully crafted beverages bring that same elevated experience onboard and provide options for every customer. The beverages will be available on international routes in March 2027 and domestic routes in April 2027.  DASSAI Dassai, the renowned premium sake brewer from the mountains of Iwakuni, Japan, is joining Delta One starting Nov. 3 on all flights to and from Tokyo-Haneda. Brewed with Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 45 percent of its original size, Dassai 45 is known for its elegant, fruit-forward aroma and the gentle sweetness of the rice itself. It's a refined, distinctly Japanese sake that pairs beautifully with Chef Norio Ueno's regional dishes, adding an elevated touch to the experience when flying Delta One to Japan. Introducing new Missoni amenity kits: Winter Elsewhere collection Launching Nov. 3, Delta’s newest Delta One Missoni amenity kit brings the Winter Elsewhere collection to the skies with a nature-inspired design and a first-of-its-kind wrist strap created for use long after landing. Inside, customers will find a curated assortment of premium essentials, including exclusive Grown Alchemist skincare, a Marvis dental kit and Missoni-branded comfort items, thoughtfully selected to enhance hydration, relaxation and well-being throughout the journey. As sleep remains a defining priority for Delta One customers, Delta continues to raise the bar on onboard rest. Delta will also introduce a Missoni Mini pillow to replace the current cuddle pillow, which will expand to all transoceanic Delta One routes. Complementing the mattress pad, slippers and eye mask, the new pillow will deliver an even more restorative sleep experience in the sky. Next era Delta One amenities Delta x Bombas returns  This limited-edition onboard partnership combines Bombas' fan-favorite comfort innovations with Delta-inspired design details made for the journey. With plush cushioning, honeycomb arch support and stamped with the signature ‘Fly Delta Jets’ call, these socks were built to keep travelers comfortable from gate to destination. Customers flying on select routes may receive a complimentary pair, making this one of the most exclusive drops of the season. Hospitality: The defining ingredient While the menus, ingredients, partnerships and tableware are new, the experience is still grounded in what has always set Delta apart: its people. “Hospitality has always been Delta's greatest differentiator, and it starts with our people,” said Manion Taylor. “From the earliest concepts and through testing and implementation, our flight attendants and teams helped shape this experience with their expertise and insights, ensuring every detail works for our customers while reflecting the hospitality that sets Delta apart.” More than 200 Delta flight attendants and team members helped shape the experience over 14+ months, contributing 200+ unique submissions of feedback across four phases of testing and 36 dedicated trial flights. Their insights influenced everything from redesigned service elements, including tea service and sauce presentation, to the development of more than 60 new pieces of tableware. The result is a Delta One experience thoughtfully crafted for customers, by the people who bring it to life every day. Scaling Delta's premium strategy The next era of Delta One dining is the latest chapter in Delta's premium transformation. Across connectivity — with nearly 1,300 aircraft currently equipped with Delta Sync Wi-Fi, representing more than 95 percent of the fleet — a frictionless ground experience, lounges, personalized digital experiences, next-generation seatback screens, onboard products, partners and the most restful experience in the sky, Delta continues to set the standard for a more connected, seamless and elevated journey across its expansive global network. “No airline has invested more intentionally in redefining premium travel,” said Goswami. “From connectivity and personalized entertainment to dedicated security, Porsche tarmac transfers, next-generation aircraft and Delta One dining, every investment is part of a deliberate strategy to deliver the industry’s most consistent and elevated customer experience.” Together, these investments reflect Delta's unwavering commitment to continue leading the industry forward, raising the standard for premium travel. *Porsche service available to Delta One customers when booking VIP Select.

Melamine foam manufacturer FoamTech adds EN 13501-1 Class B-s1, d0 fire rating as European interior specifications tighten

Wednesday 14 October, 2026 The Yiwu-based manufacturer also holds IATF 16949 and AS9100D, delivers rail interior material against EN 45545 project specifications, and has had its melamine foam carbon footprint verified to ISO 14067:2018 by TÜV SÜD. YIWU, Zhejiang, China — 14 October 2026 — FoamTech (Zhejiang) New Materials Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of melamine foam for thermal insulation, acoustic treatment and fire-rated interiors, today confirmed that its melamine foam carries the European construction fire classification EN 13501-1 Class B-s1, d0. EN 13501-1 is the reaction-to-fire classification standard applied to construction products across the European Union and the UK. The designation has three parts: B indicates a limited contribution to fire spread; s1 is the lowest smoke-production bracket; and d0 indicates no flaming droplets. The final element is frequently the one that narrows the field in enclosed interior applications, where a falling, burning droplet can spread fire below the point of ignition. The same class is expressed in the Chinese system, where the material is separately graded as GB 8624 B1 (B-s1, d0) for domestic projects. Melamine foam derives its fire performance from the nitrogen content of the melamine resin itself rather than from halogenated flame-retardant additives. That is a property of the material, not a coating, and it survives cutting and converting. “Our customers in Europe rarely ask for a single data-sheet number,” said Kiko Fan, Overseas Manager at FoamTech. “They ask which classification a product holds, who tested it, and whether the same result applies to the thickness and density they are actually specifying. So we publish the classification and the test method together, and we keep the underlying reports available to specifiers.” Three qualification streams on one set of lines Melamine foam for building interiors is only one of the release regimes FoamTech works under. The company holds IATF 16949, the quality management standard for automotive suppliers, and AS9100D, its aerospace counterpart, for its melamine foam production, alongside ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. In practice this means incoming-material control, batch traceability and release testing on the lines that produce standard insulation grades are governed by automotive and aerospace control plans. Material supplied for HVAC ductwork, chilled-water and process piping, or acoustic treatment inherits that release discipline. Rail interiors: supplied to project requirements Rail interior work follows a different route. Rather than claiming a blanket approval, FoamTech supplies against individual project specifications that call for compliance with EN 45545, the European fire-safety standard for railway vehicles. That includes interior applications on rolling stock built by CRRC, the Chinese rolling-stock manufacturer, where the hazard level is set by the vehicle programme rather than by the foam supplier. Material is tested and documented to the hazard level named in the customer's specification, and the supporting test evidence travels with the delivery documentation. Test documentation held Independent test evidence held by the company includes: UL 94 V-0 rated formulations; Carbon footprint verified Separately from fire performance, the carbon footprint of the company's melamine foam has been verified to ISO 14067:2018 by TÜV SÜD, the German testing and certification group. The verification covers data from October 2024 to September 2025 and was carried out to a reasonable-assurance level, with an unqualified statement of conformity. The verified figure is 86.18 kg CO2e per 2560 × 1300 × 430 mm block, from cradle to gate — that is, raw material and manufacturing stages. Standards work FoamTech is listed among the drafting units of Chinese national and industry standards for plastics and thermal insulation, including QB/T 8216-2026 (cleaning melamine foam), and participates in current revision work on test methods for foam combustion behaviour and water-vapour transmission in building materials. About FoamTech FoamTech (Zhejiang) New Materials Co., Ltd. is a melamine foam manufacturer registered in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, China (legal entity registered 2020-12-29; group operations since 2014). The company produces melamine foam blocks, sheets, acoustic panels, thermal insulation, hydrophobic grades and cleaning sponges, and supplies converted and die-cut parts. It holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IATF 16949 and AS9100D, has completed a BSCI social-compliance audit, operates a FAMA Authorized Facility in Yiwu, and has an annual melamine foam production capacity of 300,000 m³.
