For approximately 160 aspiring aviators from across the Atlanta metro, Oct. 20 was the day the sky stopped being the limit. Students boarded Delta’s 26th annual DREAM Flight at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Ala., for a firsthand look at the careers that could one day be theirs.
Students from local Atlanta schools and organizations including, Rex Mill Middle, Elite Scholars, the Kindezi Schools, Morrow High School, OBAP ACE Academy and The Atlanta Chapter of Tuskegee Airmen S.T.R.E.A.M. Program spent the day exploring what it takes to connect the world through flight and meeting the people who make it happen.
Rotating through four interactive experiences, students toured the Airbus A320 Final Assembly Line and took part in a scavenger hunt on aircraft manufacturing. They tackled aviation-themed activities and challenges at the Old Canteen Center, operated drones and flight simulators at Flight Works and explored the Advanced Manufacturing Program and facilities at Bishop State Community College.
Before heading home, students heard from a panel of Delta and Airbus leaders at Bishop State, including Kurt Ford, Managing Director of Flight Training; William Cossey, Managing Director of Supply Chain Management; Tyesha Gray, Director of Human Resources; Julian Anugom, Director of In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity; and Roderick Rogers, Head of A220 Quality Product Improvement at Airbus. These leaders shared their own career journeys and answered questions about navigating the industry.
“Every student on this flight has the potential to become a pilot, engineer, technician or leader. Representation can be a powerful catalyst for unlocking potential, especially when students see people who look like them building, flying and leading in this industry. Delta’s DREAM Flight helps them better understand the variety of career pathways in the aviation industry,” said Keyra Lynn Johnson, Chief Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Social Impact Officer.
DREAM Flight’s founder honored
This year, former Delta pilot and U.S. Air Force veteran John Bailey was inducted into the OBAP Hall of Fame at the organization’s annual conference. The honor recognizes Captain Bailey’s long career dedicated to opening doors for young people who dream of flying, from helping bring OBAP’s ACE Academy to Delta to founding Delta’s DREAM Flight.
After flying military transport aircraft for the U.S. Air Force, including missions in Vietnam, Bailey joined Delta in 1973. As a newly hired pilot based in Boston, he often flew round-robin charter flights around the city for terminally ill children, and those flights sparked the idea to create a similar experience for kids who dreamed of becoming pilots.
In July 2000, Bailey piloted the first DREAM Flight to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., with 150 students from Atlanta City Schools on board. An all-Black crew of Delta pilots volunteered their time to operate the flight, and members of the Tuskegee Airmen greeted students in Washington. They returned to Atlanta on time, and 26 years later, DREAM Flight remains a one-day journey from takeoff to touchdown.
Growing the next generation of aviators
Delta’s DREAM Flight bridges the gap between early curiosity and future career options by building students’ interest in aviation through fun, hands-on educational experiences and pairing them with mentors. By making these foundational experiences readily available and financially accessible, Delta’s partnership with OBAP has successfully reached more than 4,000 young people to date.
Many DREAM Flight alumni have gone on to build careers at Delta, including:
First Officer Kyle Foley was just 12 years old when he boarded the very first DREAM Flight in 2000. Seeing the pilots and controls up close for the first time set him on a path that led to a career flying for Delta.
First Officer Curtis Jackson took DREAM Flight as a teen and grew up looking up to Bailey as one of Delta’s pioneering pilots. Bailey’s advice to keep pushing himself until he reached his goals stayed with Jackson on his path to the flight deck.
DREAM Flight is one of several Delta programs, including WING Flight, ACE Academy and the National Flight Academy, that introduce students to aviation careers and expand the aviation talent pipeline.
Working together to expand horizons
Airbus and Delta have long shared common goals for the future of travel from the talent in the industry to the aircraft to get us there. Earlier this year, Delta announced the addition of 31 next-generation Airbus widebody aircraft to its fleet, an investment that will fuel international growth and accelerate fleet renewal in the years to come.
“We talk a lot about the future of aviation, but you can’t actually build that future without bringing new voices and fresh perspectives into the fold,” said Roderick Rogers, Head of A220 Quality Product Improvement in Mobile. “Opening our doors in Mobile to Delta’s DREAM flight is our way of showing these students that there is a very real, accessible place for them in this industry, whether that's in the cockpit or right here on the manufacturing floor.”
Mobile is one of five cities worldwide where Airbus commercial aircraft are assembled. The Mobile Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility has more than 2,000 employees who produce A320 and A220 Family aircraft for customers in the U.S. and Latin America. Earlier this fall, Delta and Airbus also partnered on Delta’s 11th annual WING (Women Inspiring Next Generation) Flight, which brought 160 young women from Atlanta to the same Mobile facility in celebration of Girls in Aviation Day.

Building on their partnership through Delta Sync, Delta and Paramount+ recently hosted SkyMiles Members for an exclusive experience at JetZero’s Design Center in Long Beach, California. Guests stepped into the world of Star Trek, exploring franchise artifacts and ideas that have inspired generations to dream about the future of flight. From there, guests viewed the aviation technologies taking shape today, including JetZero’s blended wing body aircraft and Joby’s electric air taxi.
Select customers also participated in a collaborative innovation workshop alongside the Delta Sustainable Skies Lab partners to explore real-world solutions for aviation decarbonization. The two-day event marked the first time Delta customers were invited inside JetZero’s facility, and heard more about the blended-wing-body aircraft concept, which has the potential to be up to 50% more fuel efficient than today's conventional aircraft designs. Customers also had the opportunity to share feedback on next-generation aircraft concepts designed to advance sustainability while enhancing the customer experience.
For 60 years, the Star Trek franchise has invited audiences to look beyond what seems possible and imagine how technology could transform the way people move, communicate and explore. Through Delta’s partnership with Paramount+, that spirit of imagination became the starting point for an immersive journey into the real-world aircraft concepts and technologies Delta and its partners are advancing today.
"We launched the Sustainable Skies Lab as an innovation incubator to partner with transformative companies bringing revolutionary technologies to life," said Amelia DeLuca, Chief Sustainability Officer for Delta Air Lines. "Where the future of flight once lived in imagination, today it is taking shape through collaboration and innovation. Today, Delta unveils the next era of Delta One — an investment that elevates dining, hospitality and rest. Informed by two decades of customer insights and backed by the airline’s largest investment to-date — building upon more than $1 billion invested in fleet — the refined Delta One was meticulously designed, spanning thousands of touchpoints and delivering an unmatched journey.
The overhaul is available first on transoceanic Delta One routes departing Los Angeles International Airport — where Delta offers more premium seats and resides as the city’s number one airline — this fall and will expand across the full global network in 2027.
“Delta’s fully reimagined experience is rooted in solving real customer needs and desires, with intentionality behind every detail,” said Ranjan Goswami, Delta’s Chief Marketing and Product Officer. “Every investment we make is deliberate and designed to deliver the industry’s most premium end-to-end travel experience. This elevated dining and hospitality experience reflects our relentless focus on raising the bar while giving customers greater control throughout their journey.”
Delta One: What's new
Reimagined Delta One menu: A refreshed menu centered on elevated classics, featuring top-of-the line ingredients and additions like the new Delta One® Wagyu burger, regionally inspired Hong Kong-style Sea Bass and a Champagne Taittinger sorbet pairing.
Enhanced hospitality, tableware: Reimagined service experience and new tableware elevate hospitality, offering customers greater choice, functionality and comfort throughout each meal.
More personalization: Expanded pre-select options include gluten-free meals, lighter-fare and pre-arrival selections for customers prioritizing rest, while entrée pre-selection is now available for six more hours before the flight (18 hours pre-departure).
Delta welcomes Blanton’s: Customers can now enjoy one of bourbon’s most sought-after labels, a single-barrel bourbon renowned for its rarity and craftsmanship.
Delta One wines: Developed with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson and SkyMiles customers, the new program is designed to complement the reimagined dining experience, and includes Napa favorites, global labels, plus an expansion on our well-established Champagne Taittinger partnership.
DASSAI 45 Sake joins select regional routes: The world-renowned Japanese sake brewer nestled in the mountains of Iwakuni, Japan joins Delta One on flights to and from Tokyo-Haneda (HND), delivering a refined and distinctly Japanese sake experience.
Cocktails and mocktails: A curated cocktail and mocktail program featuring both alcoholic and non-alcoholic takes on two refreshing classics — the Hugo Spritz and the Paloma — joins the menu.
Refreshed winter amenity kits and new Missoni Mini: The new Winter Elsewhere collection debuts alongside a new Missoni Mini pillow on transoceanic Delta One flights for enhanced comfort and rest.
Delta x Bombas: Back by popular demand, the industry-leader in comfort will return to select domestic and international (outbound-U.S.) Delta One flights.
An elevated onboard entertainment experience: Next-generation seatback screens and enhanced digital experiences make it easier for customers to discover content, stay connected and personalize their journey.
Porsche: The deep-rooted partnership expands from 40 to 70 hybrid vehicles across 15 key airports and hubs by 2028.*
Culinary overhaul: Timeless dining for the modern traveler
Delta’s in-house culinary team partnered with Chef Simon Hulstone and Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson to shape a culinary and beverage program rooted in craftsmanship, quality and consistency. Drawing on his experience leading a restaurant with a 20-year Michelin star legacy, Hulstone helped refine every ingredient, preparation method and service touchpoint to deliver elevated versions of familiar and memorable meals customers consistently identify as their favorites.
To ensure regional meals bring local credibility and authentic inspiration, Delta also partnered with renowned Chefs Norio Ueno and Jereme Leung. Meticulous in their craft, each chef will continue to consult with the program to ensure Delta delivers consistent and recognizable meals customers from every region will enjoy.
From specialty cheeses and elevated dessert ingredients to thoughtfully sourced proteins and produce, every nuanced detail and offering was selected to enhance flavor, texture and consistency. Highlights include:
Delta One® Wagyu beef burger with caramelized onions, cheddar cheese and cornichons on a lightly toasted brioche bun — cooked and plated to ensure this highest-quality beef product consistently delights
Roasted Sea Bass with tomato tarragon sauce, grilled asparagus and parsley mashed potatoes
Regional twist: Grilled Salmon with ginger soy sauce, asparagus, eggplant and mushrooms flying [US – HND Delta One Feb. 2027]
Braised lamb entrée with red wine demi-glace, lyonnaise potatoes, grilled asparagus and wilted spinach
Beef short rib with red wine demi-glace, haricot vert, baby carrots, roasted shallot and potato gratin
Rich and creamy seasonally rotating risotto maintains texture at altitude and features wild mushrooms, parmesan cheese, roasted zucchini obliques and cherry tomatoes
Macaroni and cheddar cheese topped with garlic breadcrumbs
A chicken Caesar salad entrée featuring crisp romaine, parsley, parmesan and Caesar dressing
Chicken salad croissant, hummus and crudité — each a new addition, offered as mid- flight meal
Delta One iconic dessert cart preserves a beloved tradition and now features upgraded options and a generous amount of choice:
The Classic sundae topped with a new signature chocolate sauce, Amarena premium preserved cherries and pecan praline crumble — garnished with a soft and airy doughnut
A new dairy-free sorbet paired with (optional) Champagne Taittinger float adds a light, elegant and refreshing after-dinner option
Napa Valley inspired fruit and cheese plate brings together flavors from Northern California and features Cowgirl Creamery’s Mt. Tam and Hop Along cheese, Cypress Grove’s Humbolt Fog cheese and Rustic Bakery’s Artisan Crisps
Heritage-inspired tableware
A new collection of Delta One tableware — featuring the iconic Delta widget — balances elegance with operational precision. Developed through extensive research, prototyping and onboard testing, every piece was designed to elevate hospitality, enable personalized tableside service and create a refined backdrop for the culinary experience. Scale, shape, material, color and how pieces layer together all contribute to the overall impression — each subtle detail built to significantly enhance the meal.
New Delta One serviceware
Designed around you: More choice to travel your way
The refreshed Delta One experience gives customers greater control over how they dine and rest while traveling. Expanded pre-select options include lighter selections, such as protein-added salads, while customers on long-haul flights who prefer to maximize sleep can opt to skip the morning meal service and instead enjoy a coffee and croissant before landing.
Delta also gives customers more flexibility to plan, extending pre-select entrée ordering to 18 hours before departure — six hours closer to departure than before, making Delta the only U.S. carrier to offer a pre-order window this close to flight time.
“Luxury is about having the experience designed around you — today’s premium traveler values choice as much as quality,” said Kristen Manion Taylor, SVP – Brand Experience. “These enhancements offer greater flexibility, ensuring every Delta One customer can enjoy the journey in the way that suits them best.”
Intentional touches
In addition to the meal, a new ‘sip and settle’ moment — hot towel, warm nuts and a preferred beverage — is intentionally placed on the console, allowing customers to go about their pre-dining ritual(s) without interruption. Furthermore, a fresh cracked pepper service delivered during the first course and saucières holding side sauces to complement main proteins have been added to create greater flexibility without sacrificing the experience.
New, iconic beverage partners and refreshed amenities
Blanton’s — an iconic Kentucky Bourbon — on board Dec. 1
As the first and only airline to welcome Blanton’s, one of bourbon’s most coveted labels, Delta One is proud to serve this exceptional single-barrel bourbon, whose limited production and global demand have made it a prized favorite among both collectors and connoisseurs.
From the iconic horse-and-jockey stopper to its tradition of inspecting, filling, sealing and labeling every bottle by hand, Blanton's and Delta are deeply committed to preserving and celebrating heritage. Bottled at 93 proof, the single-barrel bourbon features powerful dry vanilla notes in harmony with hints of honey amid strong caramel and corn.
Napa icons, global classics take flight
Delta is moving from four wine rotations each year to two, ensuring greater consistency for both customers and flight attendants. In partnership with Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson and loyal SkyMiles Members, 1,600 wines were curated into a final selection of 13 wines from 11 wineries featured on board between October 2026 and September 2027.
The new Delta One wine program was selected to complement the reimagined culinary experience and features iconic Napa wines, such as Silver Oak, retailing at over $200 per bottle. This, in addition to expanding the Champagne Taittinger partnership — now offered when flying in domestic Delta One — rounds out our most premium wine investment to date.
Classic mocktails and cocktails
A curated cocktail and mocktail program — designed to meet growing demand for non-alcoholic beverages — features both alcoholic and non-alcoholic interpretations of two refreshing classics, the Hugo Spritz and the Paloma.
Building on the strong popularity of mocktails served in the Delta One Lounge, these thoughtfully crafted beverages bring that same elevated experience onboard and provide options for every customer. The beverages will be available on international routes in March 2027 and domestic routes in April 2027.
DASSAI
Dassai, the renowned premium sake brewer from the mountains of Iwakuni, Japan, is joining Delta One starting Nov. 3 on all flights to and from Tokyo-Haneda. Brewed with Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 45 percent of its original size, Dassai 45 is known for its elegant, fruit-forward aroma and the gentle sweetness of the rice itself. It's a refined, distinctly Japanese sake that pairs beautifully with Chef Norio Ueno's regional dishes, adding an elevated touch to the experience when flying Delta One to Japan.
Introducing new Missoni amenity kits: Winter Elsewhere collection
Launching Nov. 3, Delta’s newest Delta One Missoni amenity kit brings the Winter Elsewhere collection to the skies with a nature-inspired design and a first-of-its-kind wrist strap created for use long after landing. Inside, customers will find a curated assortment of premium essentials, including exclusive Grown Alchemist skincare, a Marvis dental kit and Missoni-branded comfort items, thoughtfully selected to enhance hydration, relaxation and well-being throughout the journey.
As sleep remains a defining priority for Delta One customers, Delta continues to raise the bar on onboard rest. Delta will also introduce a Missoni Mini pillow to replace the current cuddle pillow, which will expand to all transoceanic Delta One routes. Complementing the mattress pad, slippers and eye mask, the new pillow will deliver an even more restorative sleep experience in the sky.
Next era Delta One amenities
Delta x Bombas returns
This limited-edition onboard partnership combines Bombas' fan-favorite comfort innovations with Delta-inspired design details made for the journey. With plush cushioning, honeycomb arch support and stamped with the signature ‘Fly Delta Jets’ call, these socks were built to keep travelers comfortable from gate to destination. Customers flying on select routes may receive a complimentary pair, making this one of the most exclusive drops of the season.
Hospitality: The defining ingredient
While the menus, ingredients, partnerships and tableware are new, the experience is still grounded in what has always set Delta apart: its people.
“Hospitality has always been Delta's greatest differentiator, and it starts with our people,” said Manion Taylor. “From the earliest concepts and through testing and implementation, our flight attendants and teams helped shape this experience with their expertise and insights, ensuring every detail works for our customers while reflecting the hospitality that sets Delta apart.”
More than 200 Delta flight attendants and team members helped shape the experience over 14+ months, contributing 200+ unique submissions of feedback across four phases of testing and 36 dedicated trial flights. Their insights influenced everything from redesigned service elements, including tea service and sauce presentation, to the development of more than 60 new pieces of tableware. The result is a Delta One experience thoughtfully crafted for customers, by the people who bring it to life every day.
Scaling Delta's premium strategy
The next era of Delta One dining is the latest chapter in Delta's premium transformation. Across connectivity — with nearly 1,300 aircraft currently equipped with Delta Sync Wi-Fi, representing more than 95 percent of the fleet — a frictionless ground experience, lounges, personalized digital experiences, next-generation seatback screens, onboard products, partners and the most restful experience in the sky, Delta continues to set the standard for a more connected, seamless and elevated journey across its expansive global network.
“No airline has invested more intentionally in redefining premium travel,” said Goswami. “From connectivity and personalized entertainment to dedicated security, Porsche tarmac transfers, next-generation aircraft and Delta One dining, every investment is part of a deliberate strategy to deliver the industry’s most consistent and elevated customer experience.”
Together, these investments reflect Delta's unwavering commitment to continue leading the industry forward, raising the standard for premium travel.

Huxley, Iowa, September 2, 2026 – Bayer is implementing its previously announced ambition to bring 10 blockbusters to market over 10 years, beginning to launch major Crop Science innovations in key agricultural regions around the world. A blockbuster is a product that is expected to deliver a peak sales potential of at least 500 million euros. Plenexos™ insecticide and the Preceon™ Smart Corn System have already started to be commercialized. In soy, Vyconic™ 1 is expected for introduction next year in the United States and Canada, and Intacta 5+™1 introduction is expected for the 2027/2028 growing season in Brazil.
“We are delivering on the promises we made and bringing a new generation of game-changing products to farmers. By connecting seed and crop protection innovation we can deliver whole-farm solutions that help growers manage risk, capture yield potential and improve return on investment,” said Rodrigo Santos, Member of the Board of Management of Bayer AG and Head of the Crop Science Division. “We pursue a very diligent and differentiated strategy for each of our segments, addressing different growth dynamics, farmer needs, and regional and competitive dynamics. Because we have scale, we see having these different business segments together as a significant strategic advantage – one that plays out in what we innovate and how we can serve growers.”
The Preceon™ Smart Corn System, a digitally enabled short-stature corn system, is already delivering on-farm value in Mexico, Italy, Spain, and the U.S. This year, the commercial launch in Argentina will begin. It delivers a unique combination of benefits for growers, including increased protection against weather extremes, flexibility to plant at higher densities, improved accessibility for standard farm equipment throughout the season, and a larger root system, all supporting reduced agronomic risk, higher yield potential and better return on investment for farmers. By 2035, Bayer targets a market penetration of 26 million acres. Preceon™ is also unique by embedding digital capabilities within the system through FieldView™. More than a sales enablement platform, it serves as a collaboration tool between farmers and their agronomic advisors and helps customers realize the full agronomic and economic potential of the system.
Plenexos™, a new insecticide targeting a broad spectrum of sucking pests, has been introduced in Colombia, with Mexico, Brazil, and the U.S. set to follow. Compared to other products, farmers can use up to 75 percent less active ingredient to control pests2 which also helps safeguard pollinators, beneficial insects and other non-target organisms. With a focus on soy, cotton, fruits and vegetables, Plenexos™ is anticipated to reach a peak sales potential of 500 million euros by the mid-2030s.
Vyconic™ will be the industry's first soybean trait stack with tolerance to five herbicides. It is designed to provide growers with more flexibility in their weed control options and to better manage weed pressure and increasingly problematic resistance. Because of the integration with Bayer’s advanced breeding pipeline, Vyconic™ will be introduced in elite-performing varieties that have demonstrated a yield increase of more than two bushels per acre, meaning that farmers realize the full value of both increased genetic yield potential and weed control flexibility earlier than ever. Bayer anticipates strong adoption of Vyconic™ and subsequent launch of HT5, helping to regain trait leadership position in North America by 2032. Intacta 5+™ will also bring five herbicide tolerances to Brazilian growers, and adds new insect protection traits specifically designed for the Brazilian market. In soy, these and the next generation of herbicide tolerance traits, combined with the newest insect protection traits, are expected to reach a peak sales potential of more than 3 billion euros.
Additional blockbusters expected before the end of the decade include fourth-generation corn rootworm protection, as well as the groundbreaking herbicide Icafolin, targeting 750 million euros sales potential in the mid-2030s. Collectively, the 10 blockbusters will address pressing farmer challenges and are poised to contribute significantly to Bayer's growth over the coming decade.
Bayer advances industry-leading innovation pipeline
Alongside these launches, Bayer advances key projects across its Crop Science R&D pipeline and brings innovation to farmers continuously, introducing 400 to 500 new hybrids and varieties annually. This output is based on Bayer’s AI-enabled precision breeding platform, which doubles the yield improvement rate of every new generation (genetic gain) compared to historical breeding, and accelerates time to market threefold.
The company’s researchers have further enhanced this breeding approach through genome editing, which they use at scale by integrating the technology early in breeding processes. One example is genome-edited soy: Higher-yielding soybean varieties can become more susceptible to leaning or falling over as plant height increases. Through genome editing, Bayer is developing soy with improved plant architecture to help address this challenge. Innovations like genome-edited standable soy and the advanced breeding pipeline come together to create new product concepts and value for growers that will come to the market early in the next decade.
As another example of its connected R&D engine, Bayer is advancing new biotech traits in concert with its novel crop protection innovation. In early-stage development, the company is working on its sixth-generation herbicide tolerance, which is expected to also include tolerance against its blockbuster herbicide Icafolin. It is the first time the company simultaneously develops a new herbicide molecule and plant trait for tolerance, contributing to a holistic weed-control system that is unique in the industry.
Bayer’s AI-powered R&D-CropKey platform is a key differentiator in Crop Protection, enabling the discovery of new modes of action and the design of targeted molecules assessing efficacy, safety, and sustainability at the very start of the R&D process. This has helped create a robust pipeline with more than 15 novel modes of action currently in the pipeline research phase, driven by CropKey. One example is a new broad-spectrum fungicide for soy with blockbuster potential. It is developed using CropKey and now advanced to phase II in the pipeline.
“Whether in seeds, traits or crop protection innovation, AI is becoming a core enabler of Bayer’s innovation model, helping us advance discovery, improve development efficiency and translate biological insights into differentiated products for growers faster,” said Mike Graham, Head of Crop Science R&D. “Our advantage is that our teams work from the same biological insights, enabling us to combine expertise across disciplines and accelerate innovation.”
Bayer is also using its unique R&D capabilities to expand into adjacent growth areas. With its emergent, but leading portfolio of intermediate biofuel crops, including camelina, winter oilseed rape and CoverCress™, the company contributes to meeting growing demand for biodiesel, renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel markets, estimated to increase almost threefold to 40 billion gallons by 2040. Bayer is also advancing its plans to sell hybrid wheat in Europe and North America by the early 2030s. This unlocks a largely untapped opportunity by bringing the benefits of hybridization to a crop grown on more than 500 million acres worldwide. With hybrid wheat, camelina, winter oilseed rape and CoverCress™, Bayer is entering four new crops at the same time.
Bayer on track executing its Five-Year Framework
Bayer’s innovation approach is enabled by execution of its Five-Year Framework strategy, which the Crop Science Division announced in 2025 to drive growth, resilience and profitability. The company continues to execute the strategy, and efforts are beginning to deliver tangible results.
Bayer has made significant progress on cost reductions, amounting to almost 400 million euros to date, contributing to its EBITDA before special items improvement goal of 1 billion euros and supporting its ambition to achieve an EBITDA margin before special items in the mid-20s percentage range by the end of the decade. Actions included divesting five active ingredients and discontinuing more than 100 crop protection formulations. In addition, cash-flow measures are progressing, with inventory reductions of already 500 million euros, supporting Bayer’s ambition to reach a free operating cash flow of more than 3 billion euros by 2029.
The Five-Year Framework’s goal of above-market growth and delivering more than 3.5 billion euros of incremental sales at constant currency through the end of the decade is supported by Bayer’s ongoing innovation delivery as well as strategic business decisions. Key growth drivers include excellent-yielding hybrids launched every year, accelerated technology adoption, market share gains and geographic expansion of proven technologies into Asian and EMEA markets. In the crop protection space, Bayer is pursuing growth through locally focused go-to-market initiatives, redeploying commercial resources to growth products and regions, and lifecycle management measures, like the introduction of Convintro™ in the United States, Brazil and Canada.
Bayer’s progress is supported by its Dynamic Shared Ownership operating model, which enables faster decisions and clearer accountability, strengthening the company’s ability to lead in scaling AI-enabled opportunities across the business. “Our innovation strategy and our Five-Year Framework are built on execution,” said Rodrigo Santos. “We are making progress against the commitments we have made, and are set to lead the industry and bring value to our customers and shareholders by delivering differentiating solutions that growers around the world need.”
