Collaboration brings experienced eCard designers to SuS Pads’ newly launched platform to support festive fundraising and raise awareness of clean water and menstrual hygiene.
HEREFORD, UK – October, 2026 – Hope Spring eCards is collaborating with SuS Pads’ newly launched eCards platform to create Christmas greetings that help raise funds for the two charities’ work.
Under the partnership, Hope Spring eCards designers will use their experience in creating digital greeting cards to develop Christmas designs for SuS Pads eCards. SuS Pads will offer the cards for sale to its supporters, giving them a way to combine festive greetings with charitable giving.
Lolade Aderibigbe, a spokesperson for Hope Spring ecards said:
Christmas is a time when people naturally think about helping others. Through this collaboration, we want to demonstrate how something as simple as sending an eCard can contribute to a wider charitable purpose.
The collaboration brings together two organisations whose work contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 6 through clean water, sanitation and hygiene initiatives. It pairs Hope Spring’s experience in eCard fundraising with SuS Pads’ ambition to develop a new source of support through its own digital platform.
Hope Spring supports access to clean water in underserved communities, while SuS Pads works to address period poverty through menstrual hygiene education and reusable pad training. Their activities connect access to essential resources with health, dignity and opportunity.
Christmas offers an opportunity to introduce supporters to this shared purpose. By choosing a charity eCard, senders can celebrate the season while helping sustain work beyond the festive period.
For SuS Pads, the partnership provides access to design experience as it builds its newly launched eCards service. Hope Spring’s designers will apply their knowledge of digital greetings to help create a Christmas collection that SuS Pads can promote to its supporter community.
Boluwatife Olorunfemi, Director at SusPads, said:
Access to clean water and menstrual hygiene are closely connected to health, dignity and opportunity. Our partnership with Hope Spring reflects the value of working together towards these shared goals. We are excited to introduce Christmas eCards as another way for our supporters to engage with our mission and contribute to positive change.
The initiative also demonstrates how charities can share practical skills to strengthen fundraising. Alongside raising money, the Christmas cards will provide an opportunity to introduce more people to the organisations’ work and the importance of clean water and menstrual hygiene.
Supporters are invited to visit SuS Pads eCards to explore the new platform and look out for the Christmas collection. They can also visit Hope Spring Christmas eCards to discover greetings supporting clean water projects.

The recognition comes just over a year after the European Accessibility Act came into force, confirming Accessiway's commitment to supporting businesses as they adapt to accessibility requirements for a truly inclusive digital world.
Turin, October 16, 2026 – Accessiway has been named a Leader in the first Gartner® Magic Quadrant™
The recognition comes just over a year after the European Accessibility Act (EAA) came into force. The EAA is the European directive that sets common accessibility requirements for certain physical and digital products and services. In this context, accessibility is no longer just a matter of verification: it requires companies to take an ongoing approach involving technology, people, and organizations. Yet recent research conducted by Accessiway on 107 websites of listed companies across five European stock indices found that 98% of the sites analyzed still have at least one accessibility barrier.
This is the landscape in which Accessiway operates, with an approach that combines automated checks, expert audits, user testing, remediation of accessibility issues and process management tools.
Accessiway's platform also includes tools for managing the accessibility of websites, single-page applications (SPAs), native mobile apps and PDFs. The PDF Solution Suite is a comprehensive approach to making your documents fully accessible and compliant with regulatory standards such as WCAG 2.2 level AA and EN 301 549. Expert audits are delivered into a live dashboard. Issues that flow straight into Jira. Progress you can see across every site, every day.
"We are honored to be named a Leader in the first Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ dedicated to Digital Accessibility," said Amit Borsok, CEO and Co-Founder of Accessiway. "Accessiway is committed to continuing to innovate in the field of digital accessibility, with one clear goal: making the web accessible for all. Technology, regulation and user expectations are evolving at a fast pace, and we want to stay ahead of that change, thinking beyond conventional approaches to meet the needs of both our clients and the people who use their digital services every day. We will keep pushing boundaries and challenging the limits of what accessibility can achieve, so that no one has to give up a service because they cannot use it."

The Public Accounts Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE) has raised concerns over delays in investigating human rights complaints, inspecting detention facilities and concluding tribunal cases at the Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC), despite increased government funding.
Presenting the committee’s report on the Report of the Auditor General on the financial statements of the UHRC for the audit year ended 31 December 2025, Chairperson Muwada Nkunyingi said the commission had weaknesses in financial management, procurement, asset management and strategic plan implementation.
The report was presented during a plenary sitting chaired by Speaker Jacob Markson Oboth, on Thursday, 15 October 2026.
UHRC received Shs28.95 billion in revenue in the 2024/2025 financial year, up from Shs18.34 billion the previous year. Of this, Shs28.87 billion came from the Consolidated Fund and Shs88 million from non-tax revenue.
However, the committee said increased funding had not translated into full implementation of the commission’s mandate.
“The inability to conclude tribunal cases, undermined access to justice during the just concluded strategic plan period of FY 2020/21–FY 2024/25,” the report states.
Of 22 strategic plan targets assessed, 13 were fully achieved, while nine were partially achieved. UHRC inspected 1,054 detention facilities against a target of 1,350, leaving 296 uninspected. Meanwhile, 19 per cent of registered cases remained uninvestigated; only 50 complaints were concluded through the tribunal against a target of 250, and 49 cases were mediated against a target of 400.
The committee cited inadequate funding, delayed recruitment and weaknesses in resource allocation, urging UHRC to prioritise activities directly linked to its mandate. It also recommended compliance with the Treasury Instructions, 2017, which limit employee compensation to 65 per cent of recurrent expenditure.
On procurement, the committee questioned the failure to complete Shs70.4 million in head-office partitioning works. The funds were reportedly redirected to office furniture following plans to relocate to JLOS House in Naguru, but evidence of the purchases was not provided. It recommended accountability for the funds and appropriate action by the Inspectorate of Government and the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
The report also flagged discrepancies in asset records, 20 vehicles worth Shs2.484 billion that had exceeded their five-year useful life, and underutilised land.
It further blamed internal conflicts among commission members and staff for undermining operations, recommending legal reforms and action against public officers involved in persistent conflicts.
Debate on the committee report was deferred to a later sitting.
