MUNICH, GERMANY - October 21, 2026 - Circus SE (WKN: A2YN35 / ISIN: DE000A2YN355 / XETRA: CA1), a German Physical AI company developing civilian and defence applications, today published key highlights from its Q3 2026 Operational Update Call – nearly exactly one year after the commercial launch of its patented AI robotics technology.
Following a deliberate slowdown in the middle of this year to address early-stage operational challenges, Circus has regained full deployment momentum. With the operational foundation now proven at scale, the company has entered Q4 as the operator of Europe’s largest fleet of autonomous meal production robots – and is accelerating further.
Twelve months after its first deployments at REWE and Meta, Circus has over 30 systems deployed across 19 enterprise customers in 8 countries - with a target of more than 50 systems by year-end. Revenue guidance for FY2026 stands at EUR 5.2 million, representing 233% growth year-over-year. Data on more than 230,000 robot-made meals produced over time continuously strengthens the company’s proprietary Culinary AI.
System uptime at mature sites rose from 70% at the start of the year to above 93% in Q3, validating enterprise-scale readiness across retail, healthcare and defence environments. Total operating costs were cut by nearly 25% quarter-on-quarter while deployment pace tripled – Circus scales faster at lower cost as the business matures.
Q3 marked the company’s first CA-1 deployment outside Europe, launching in Abu Dhabi with Royal Catering. Circus Pods, the proprietary ingredient platform and infrastructure, is now live across nearly all customer accounts, reducing daily handling time for clients by up to 80% and building additional recurring revenue streams for Circus. The CA-A robotic system entered volume production just three months after the acquisition closed; the CA-M completed its functional prototype and commenced first module production.
“Twelve months ago, we served our first robot-made meals at customer sites. Today we operate the largest autonomous fleet in Europe, trusted by enterprise customers across commercial and defence sectors alike – in a market that remains less than 4% automated. The opportunity ahead is larger than ever,” said Nikolas Bullwinkel, Founder & CEO.
The full presentation and transcript are available at www.circus-group.com/quarterly-update.
In addition, the Company and CEO Nikolas Bullwinkel will be present at the Bank of America Transforming World Conference (London, 10 Nov), MKK Munich Capital Market Conference (11 Nov), EKF German Equity Forum (Frankfurt, 23 Nov) and Goldman Sachs AI Symposium (London, 25 Nov).

Preliminary financial results for the first nine months continue to be characterised by weak consumer and market trends
Consistent implementation of the measures under the FOCUS performance program and the associated cost-cutting program
Reduction of the Management Board to two members
Continuation of growth initiatives in the final quarter
Forecast for the full year 2026 adjusted
NASSAU, GERMANY - October 21, 2026 - The Management Board of Leifheit AG (ISIN DE0006464506) has today reassessed its expectations for the full year 2026 based on the preliminary financial results for the first nine months of 2026, and in the light of the accelerated implementation of the FOCUS performance program and the early termination of the employment contract of the Chief Operating Officer with effect from 31 December 2026.
Preliminary financial results for the first nine months of 2026
Despite a market environment that continues to be characterised by decline, Leifheit was able to gain market share in its core business and strengthen its competitive position. However, the continuing noticeable consumer reluctance weighed on demand and led to a decline in turnover in the third quarter as well. According to preliminary calculations, the Leifheit Group generated turnover of EUR 169.1 million in the first nine months of the 2026 financial year (9M 2025: EUR 179.0 million).
Group earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amounted to EUR -2.9 million (9M 2025: EUR 5.4 million). Earnings inlcude special items from the FOCUS program amounting to EUR 2.0 million. In the third quarter of 2026, Group EBIT stood at EUR -0.2 million (Q3 2025: EUR 3.4 million).
2026 Forecast
Against the backdrop of continued market decline, the Management Board is slightly adjusting its forecast for Group turnover in the 2026 financial year. Despite positive momentum in the fourth quarter, a decline in turnover in the mid-single-digit percentage range compared with the previous year (EUR 232.6 million) is now expected.
The Management Board now expects Group EBIT to be between EUR -5 and -6 million. Previously, EBIT of EUR 0 million had been anticipated. The forecast result includes special items of approximately EUR 7 million relating to the implementation of the FOCUS performance program and provisions in connection with the early termination of the contract of the Chief Operating Officer. Excluding these one-off effects, EBIT before special items is now expected to be around EUR 1 to 2 million.
Free cash flow for the full year 2026 is expected to be between EUR -1 and -2 million. Most recently, a figure of EUR 0 million had been anticipated (previous year: EUR 6.4 million).
Reduction in the size of the Management Board
The Supervisory Board has resolved to reduce the size of the Mangaement Board of Leifheit AG from three to two members. Igor Iraeta Munduate (Chief Operating Officer) and the Supervisory Board of Leifheit AG have mutually agreed to the early termination of his employment as of 31 December 2026.
Stefan De Loecker, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Leifheit AG, explains: “Consolidating responsibilities at Management Board level streamlines decision-making processes, increases organisational agility and contributes to sustainable cost reduction. Over the past few years, Mr Iraeta Munduate has played a key role in further developing the Operations division and driving important initiatives in the areas of efficiency, the supply chain and digitalisation. Mr Iraeta Munduate has thus made a significant contribution to the company’s competitiveness. We thank him for this, as well as for his great commitment, and wish him all the best for his personal and professional future.”
Accelerated implementation of the FOCUS performance program
Alexander Reindler, CEO of Leifheit AG, explains: “Precisely because the market environment remains challenging, we are accelerating Leifheit’s transformation. The implementation of the measures under the FOCUS performance program for the structural transformation of the Group and the associated cost-cutting program is proceeding according to plan. We will continue to pursue the strategic initiatives we have launched consistently in the fourth quarter of the 2026 financial year.”
FOCUS lays the foundation for a sustainably improved level of profitability for the Group. In particular, the program comprises the introduction of a new operating model, the streamlining of Group structures, the targeted digitalisation of key processes and the reduction of staff numbers. The implementation of the program will result in one-off personnel and non-personnel expenses totalling up to EUR 9.6 million.
This will be offset by initial positive effects from the 2027 financial year onwards and, from the 2028 financial year onwards, by permanent recurring annual cost savings expected to exceed EUR 8 million. Essentially, the FOCUS program lays the foundations for a sustainable strengthening of the Group’s competitiveness and profitability in the coming years.
In parallel with the organisational transformation, Leifheit is continuing to drive forward the brand relaunch that has already begun. To this end, product presentation at the Point of Sale - both in-store and online - is being consistently modernised, and the marketing of innovations is being tailored to changing consumer needs. By implementing these strategic initiatives, Leifheit is laying the foundations for a more efficient organisation, greater competitiveness and a sustainable improvement in profitability in the coming years.

Mount Laurel, NJ Wednesday Oct 21, 2026 @ 1:30 PM Pacific —
A familiar South Jersey landmark is getting a new chapter. Sage Dispensary has officially opened its doors at 1170 Route 73 in Mount Laurel, transforming the former Sage Diner into a locally rooted cannabis destination while preserving the character and name of the property that has long been part of the community.
For founder and managing partner Alex Kardos, the opening represents something more personal than the launch of another cannabis retailer. Raised in the Cherry Hill area, Kardos grew up just a few miles from the diner and remembers visiting Sage with his parents as a child. When he returned to South Jersey after more than a decade building his career in the cannabis industry on the West Coast, the opportunity to bring new life to the familiar property felt like a natural homecoming.
“The Sage Diner was part of the landscape I grew up with, so being able to bring this building back to life while keeping the Sage name means a lot to me,” said Kardos. “I’ve spent nearly two decades learning every side of this industry, and I wanted to bring all of that experience home and create a place where people can find great cannabis, get honest guidance and feel comfortable whether they’ve been shopping for years or are completely new to it.”
Sage occupies the existing approximately 5,700-square-foot former diner property, retaining the distinctive setting rather than replacing it with a conventional retail buildout. The location sits at the Route 73 and Church Road intersection, a prominent Mount Laurel location.
Today, Sage offers adult-use cannabis products selected with an emphasis on quality, variety and knowledgeable customer service. The dispensary is designed to serve a broad range of consumers, from experienced flower enthusiasts interested in growers, cultivation and new genetics to customers looking for convenient formats such as pre-rolls and edibles, as well as those who appreciate additional guidance when navigating an increasingly diverse cannabis market.
That experience informs Sage’s approach to product selection and education, as the dispensary aims to create an environment where customers can ask questions, explore products and develop relationships with knowledgeable staff.
“We’re not trying to make cannabis complicated,” Kardos said. “There is an incredible amount of choice available today, and that can be exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. Our job is to know the products, understand what makes them different and help customers find what makes sense for them.”
Sage’s current operation reflects that emphasis on accessibility and convenience. The dispensary is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and offers in-store shopping, curbside pickup and delivery.
The opening also marks the realization of a project that began with Kardos’s recognition that the former diner’s zoning and distinctive physical space presented an unusual opportunity. Sage was conceived as a way to give the landmark a new purpose while retaining the name and character that connected it to the surrounding community.
Sage’s philosophy extends beyond the products on its shelves. The company describes its mission as reshaping cannabis culture through community connection, education and giving back, with an emphasis on becoming part of the communities it serves.
For Kardos, that community connection is ultimately what brings the story full circle: a South Jersey native returning home with nearly 20 years of cannabis experience and opening a business in a place he remembers from childhood.
“I’ve worked in cannabis in a lot of different places and in a lot of different roles,” Kardos said. “Coming back to where I grew up and building something in a place that was already meaningful to the community is incredibly rewarding. The Sage location has a history here. We’re excited to add the next chapter.”
Sage Dispensary is located at 1170 NJ-73, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054 and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, visit Sage Dispensary.
