African Collaborations Group (ACG) (www.ACGafrica.com), the leading strategic project origination and collaboration platform focused on the industrialisation of sport in Africa through the origination of bankable sport and entertainment district ecosystems, today announced the appointment of Lee Martin to its Advisory Board.
Mr Martin has worked as a Senior Advisor to the Executive Committee of Getty Images, one of the world’s leading visual content companies and the official visual content partner to more than 80 sport governing bodies, leagues and clubs, including the International Olympic Committee (IOC), FIFA, UEFA, the NBA, the NHL, and Manchester United, among many others.
With more than 30 years of experience in visual media and the sports sector, Mr Martin began his career at Allsport, the world's leading sports photo agency, rising to Joint Managing Director before joining Getty Images when the two companies merged in 1998. Over the course of his executive career at Getty Images, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales for Europe and Asia, and subsequently as Senior Vice President of Sport, in which capacity he was responsible for the global sport imagery business and the development of exclusive partnerships with governing bodies, leagues and rights holders around the world. Mr Martin served as a Senior Vice President on the Executive committee of Getty Images from 2003 to 2019.
He has served on a number of significant industry organisations, including the World Athletics Press Commission, the British Association of Picture Libraries & Agencies, and the Football Association, and as a judge for the International Olympic Committee Sport and Photography Contest, the Press Photographer's Year Awards and the Association of Photographers Awards, among others.
He is currently Chairman of Knockout Entertainment, which owns and runs a number of significant YouTube sports channels. He also sits on the advisory board of Ribu, Incyan, England Boxing Southern Counties, and Chairman of the Black Prince Trust.
His appointment to the ACG Advisory Board brings to the platform world-class expertise in the visual identity, imagery, storytelling and global distribution dimensions of sport and entertainment properties. Sport and entertainment districts at the scale ACG is originating must be built not only as physical and financial ecosystems but as visually iconic assets whose imagery travels globally, sustains the value of the property over the long term, and animates the sponsorship, media rights and brand partnership dimensions that underpin their commercial performance. Mr Martin's appointment ensures that this visual dimension is embedded into ACG's thinking from the earliest stages of project origination.
His appointment brings to the ACG Advisory Board deep relationships across the global sport governing bodies and rights holders, an authoritative perspective on the commercial and creative dimensions of sport imagery, and hands-on experience of building a global visual content business anchored on sport, capabilities directly relevant to originating and structuring large-scale sport and entertainment district projects across the African continent.
"Lee Martin brings to our Advisory Board a genuinely distinctive dimension: the visual and iconic identity of sport at global scale. Getty Images sits at the centre of how the world sees sport, and Lee's work has shaped that intersection for over two decades. Sport and entertainment districts are not only financial and physical assets, they are visual and cultural assets whose long-term value depends on how the world sees them. His presence on our Advisory Board ensures that ACG originates projects with this visual dimension built in from the outset," said Nicolas Pompigne-Mognard (www.Pompigne-Mognard.com), Founder and Executive Chairman of ACG.
The ACG Advisory Board provides strategic guidance as ACG originates and structures large-scale sport and entertainment district projects across the continent, aligning governments, development finance institutions (DFIs), investors, sport bodies and infrastructure partners to support the development of financially sustainable, mixed-use district ecosystems.
Africa's sport economy is projected to reach $20 billion by 2035, yet the continent continues to lack the integrated district ecosystems required to support large-scale development. ACG addresses this gap by originating bankable sport and entertainment district projects, moving beyond single-venue development models towards mixed-use, revenue-generating and financially sustainable district ecosystems.
Through its collaborative model, ACG convenes governments, PPP authorities and regulators, development finance institutions, private investors, developers, designers and engineers, legal and transaction advisors, operators, sport federations and leagues, event promoters, media and broadcast partners, academic institutions and host communities, creating structured pathways from concept to feasibility, bankability and delivery.

NWB Finland Oy is continuing its planned U.S. rollout of AINA Natural Water, announcing that the Finnish premium water brand is coming soon to Walmart.com.
The upcoming Walmart.com availability represents another step in NWB Finland Oy's strategy to introduce AINA Natural Water to U.S. consumers through established e-commerce platforms. The announcement follows the company's plans to bring AINA to OneLavi.com as part of its initial U.S. market introduction.
"Walmart.com represents another important opportunity to introduce AINA Natural Water to American consumers," said Marita Weiman, Quality Assurance Manager at NWB Finland Oy. "Our goal is to make Northern Finland's naturally filtered water accessible through familiar shopping platforms while introducing consumers to the convenience and sustainability considerations behind our packaging."
Bringing Northern Finland's Water to More U.S. Consumers
AINA Natural Water originates in the Pudasjärvi region of Northern Finland, where groundwater is naturally filtered through layers of soil, sand and rock before undergoing mechanical filtration and packaging.
The water contains approximately 32 mg/L of Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Its naturally low mineral content contributes to a soft, neutral taste and clean finish without an aftertaste.
Unlike premium water brands that rely primarily on individual plastic bottles, AINA is packaged in 5-liter and 10-liter bag-in-box formats. The larger formats are designed for convenient everyday use while requiring substantially less plastic than comparable volumes packaged in individual plastic bottles.
The packaging makes AINA suitable for households, offices, hospitality environments and gatherings where convenient access to drinking water is important.
Building a Broader U.S. E-Commerce Presence
NWB Finland Oy's planned expansion to Walmart.com follows its announcement that AINA Natural Water is coming soon to OneLavi.com, a marketplace offering health, wellness and lifestyle products.
Together, these planned e-commerce channels represent an important part of the company's strategy to establish AINA in the U.S. market and introduce consumers to a premium water brand that combines Northern Finnish origin with an alternative approach to packaging.
NWB Finland Oy also participated in the 2026 ECRM Vitamin, Weight Management & Sports Nutrition Session in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, where the company introduced AINA Natural Water and its distinctive bag-in-box format to U.S. retail buyers.
"We are taking a step-by-step approach to building AINA's presence in the United States," Weiman said. "Expanding our planned availability to Walmart.com is another way to reach consumers who appreciate quality drinking water, everyday convenience and packaging designed to reduce reliance on individual plastic bottles."
The AINA Difference
Northern Finland Source: Naturally filtered groundwater from the Pudasjärvi region of Northern Finland.
Sustainability-Focused Packaging: Designed to use substantially less plastic than comparable volumes of individually bottled water.
Naturally Low Mineral Content: Approximately 32 mg/L TDS.
Clean, Neutral Taste: A soft drinking experience with no aftertaste.
Convenient Everyday Formats: Offered in 5-liter and 10-liter bag-in-box packaging.
Additional details about AINA Natural Water's availability on Walmart.com will be announced as the company's U.S. rollout progresses.

They were discharged on Monday, according to the UN World Health Organization (WHO), which has been assisting the Kenyan authorities with Ebola preparedness since the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) declared an outbreak on 15 May.
Another 98 contacts remain in quarantine.
No risk to the community
The people who are now back at home remained asymptomatic during quarantine and underwent standard protocols, including a final health assessment, counselling on post-discharge precautions and follow-up where required before being released.
“We ask communities to welcome them home warmly,” said Dr Patrick Amoth, Kenya’s director general for health. “Having completed 21 days without symptoms, they pose no risk of infection to anyone.”
The WHO representative to Kenya, Dr Neema Rusibamayila Kimambo, echoed his message.
“People who complete quarantine have helped protect their families, their communities and the whole country,” she said.
Rush to trace contacts
Kenya confirmed its first Ebola case on 6 October – a Kenyan man who had been working in the DRC, where the caseload is approaching the 10,000 mark.
He flew back to Kenya via Uganda on 3 October and died in a Nairobi hospital two days later.
The Ministry of Health conducted robust contact tracing of anyone who may have been exposed, including family members, airline passengers and crew, airport workers and medical personnel. By 22 October, all contacts were traced – both in Kenya and abroad – and placed in quarantine.
As of Monday, eight contacts had developed symptoms and were confirmed positive for Ebola disease through laboratory testing. They were immediately transferred to the Ebola treatment centre in Nairobi.
Praise and support
In total, Kenya has reported nine confirmed Ebola cases and two deaths. All are part of one connected group and there is no evidence that the virus has spread to the community.
“WHO commends the Ministry of Health, the Kenya National Public Health Institute, national and county health teams for their work in responding quickly to every new case,” said Dr. Kimambo.
The UN agency continues to support Kenya in all aspects of Ebola response, including coordination, disease surveillance, contact tracing, laboratory testing, case management, infection prevention and control, health screening at points of entry, risk communication and community engagement.
Although there is no licensed vaccine or specific treatment for Bundibugyo virus disease, WHO stressed that early detection and supportive care improve chances of recovery.
DRC vaccine trial
Meanwhile, “a crucial clinical trial” was launched in the DRC on Friday to determine if vaccines can provide protection against the disease, said WHO’s Dr. Meg Doherty, speaking from the eastern city of Bunia to journalists in Geneva.
The TUMAINI trial platform is designed so that several vaccine candidates can be evaluated within one research framework using a strategy called the ring vaccination approach involving contacts of people with a confirmed case of Ebola.
“Tumaini actually means ‘hope’ in Swahili, and is giving us some hope,” said Dr. Doherty, director of WHO’s Department of Science for Health.
A moving experience
The first vaccine under evaluation is Ervebo which has been effective against Ebola caused by the Zaire virus. It is not yet known if it will have any protective effect against the Bundibugyo strain.
Dr. Doherty attended the launch, where four people were vaccinated.
“It was moving to see this trial begin, just as it has been deeply sad to see the effect of this outbreak on communities,” she said.
“I lived and worked in DRC nearly 40 years ago, and it is quite heartbreaking to see this beautiful country challenged by outbreaks on top of humanitarian crises.”
Evaluations and recommendations
Last week, WHO convened technical advisory groups that evaluated the evidence on two vaccines designed specifically against Bundibugyo virus: ChAdOx1, developed by the University of Oxford with the Serum Institute of India, and mRNA-1469 developed by the American company Moderna.
Recommendations will be published this week.
“In the meantime, rings are being set up, with people who have a family member sick with Ebola, or who have been exposed to the virus another way,” she said, noting that two rings are currently in place and several more are being prepared.
“Community members are already walking into the site asking to be enrolled, highlighting the intense need for an efficacious vaccine,” she added.
‘An important step’
Dr. Doherty explained that a decade ago, WHO and partners used the ring vaccination approach in Guinea during the West African Ebola outbreak to help establish the efficacy of the Ervebo vaccine.
“Today, scientists are building on that experience to seek answers about the Bundibugyo virus,” she said.
The trial is led by the Congolese authorities and is integrated into the ongoing response to the outbreak. It is being managed by the National Public Health and Biomedical Research Institute, known by the French acronym IRNRB.
“We do not yet know for certain when results will begin to emerge. We expect it will take several months,” she said.
“But already, having this trial in place is an important step towards gathering scientific data that will help policy makers reach decisions on vaccine use, and we anticipate, to protect people in this outbreak and future outbreaks.”
Dr Doherty noted that several other vaccines are under development, “and as they go through their initial studies, if they look promising, they too could be brought into this vaccine platform trial.”
