HONG KONG, Sep 4, 2026 - Asia's annual fashion extravaganza CENTRESTAGE kicked off on 2 September, followed by the highly anticipated Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show last night. The spectacular show featured the meticulously crafted Spring/Summer 2027 collections of four prominent local fashion brands: 112 mountainyam, ANGUS TSUI, ARTY:ACTIVE, and Z I D I.
(front row from left) Designer Gary Tsang; Designer Mountain Yam; Sophia Chong, Executive Director of the HKTDC; Katherine Fang, Chairman of the HKTDC Garment Advisory Committee; Designer Angus Tsui and Designer Nathan Moy, graced the Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show
Themed "Hong Kong Dopamine", this year’s Fashion Hong Kong Runway Show saw the four designers draw inspiration from the city's lights and shadows, streets, architecture, cultural memories, and daily flow, translating Hong Kong's unique pulse into a fashion language. Through their new collections, each designer interpreted "dopamine" from a different perspective – be it joy, dark humor, dynamics or the lightness of defiance – delivering a fashion experience brimming with sensory stimulation and urban energy to the audience.
The show received enthusiastic acclaim from a multitude of industry professionals, celebrities and fashion enthusiasts in attendance, including luminaries such as Kay Tse, Kevin Chu, Tony Wu, Locker Lam, Jessica Chan, etc.
Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, CENTRESTAGE is now in full swing and runs until 5 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Concurrently, the 45th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair and the 14th Salon de TIME, jointly organised by the HKTDC, the Federation of Hong Kong Watch Trades & Industries Ltd., and the Hong Kong Watch Manufacturers Association Ltd., are also being held at the venue. All three events will run until 5 September. CENTRESTAGE and Salon de TIME are open to both trade buyers and the general public, while the Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair is open exclusively to trade visitors.

112 mountainyam (Designer: Mountain Yam) Spring/Summer 2027 Collection
Brand: 112 mountainyam; Collection: The Joy of Feathers
Finding its rhythm in Hong Kong, the collection captures the neon energy hidden within the city.Reversible design is the language of this collection, juxtaposing natural, breathable materials with resilient technical textiles. This duality allows nature to converse with technology and heritage to move with the future, ultimately letting quiet exteriors give way to vibrant souls.
ANGUS TSUI (Designer: Angus Tsui) Spring/Summer 2027 Collection
Brand: ANGUS TSUI; Collection: 404: Ha Ha Haunting
Drawing creative inspiration from the dark humour and traditional local elements of Hong Kong's 1980s horror film culture, the collection seeks to construct a dark humour fashion narrative. Through the juxtaposition and reassembly of multiple eras and aesthetics, it turns each garment into a spiritual sanctuary where one can still laugh in the face of fear.
ARTY:ACTIVE (Designer: Gary Tsang) Spring/Summer 2027 Collection
Brand: ARTY:ACTIVE; Collection: Messy Symphonic
Inspired by the beautiful chaos of Hong Kong after dark, the collection thrives on contrast, melding the raw glow of traditional streets with the sleek, silent glass of the future. Engineered for athletic movement and styled for the street, it introduces a lifestyle of dynamic wellness, designed to embrace the friction of a city that never stops moving.
Z I D I (Designer: Nathan Moy) Spring/Summer 2027 Collection
Brand: Z I D I; Collection: AETHER
As an inquiry into weightlessness, the collection explores how near-invisible forces can shift how the body moves. Through an act of structural will and material memory,
the designer creates silhouettes aimed at defeating gravity, offering not just the fragility of air, but the lightness of defiance in an age of intangible intelligence.

HONG KONG, Sept 3, 2026 - CTF Life unveiled the “Aspiration Ride”, a month-long themed tram inspired by its latest brand campaign, “Your Aspiration. Our Aspiration.”. Running from 2 to 29 September, the themed tram transforms one of the city’s most beloved means of transport into a moving celebration of the aspirations that inspire Hongkongers at every stage of life. The activation forms part of a broader integrated campaign that combines outdoor advertising and digital storytelling featuring influencers to illustrate how aspirations evolve through different life stages, inspiring audiences to reflect on their journeys and the support behind them.
For many Hongkongers, the tram is more than part of the daily commute. It is a living theatre of everyday life: childhood journeys by the window, first jobs, new beginnings and quiet reflections between stops. For more than a century, the city’s “ding ding” has travelled through changing streetscapes and generations, silently keeping pace as aspirations have taken shape, evolved and been pursued. Building on this shared journey, the “Aspiration Ride” invites people across all life stages to reflect on their ambitions and the support that helps turn them into possibilities.
Officially unveiled at the launch ceremony on 2 September, the tram features a vibrant exterior design filled with colourful illustrations and more than 100 aspirations submitted by citizens through CTF Life’s social media platforms. Set against a backdrop of Chinese composition paper, the messages bring personal aspirations to life across the city, transforming the tram into a moving canvas of dreams and possibilities.
CTF Life’s management team also added their own aspirations to the tram exterior, joining a shared display of ambitions, both modest and momentous, that give life a sense of purpose.
“Hong Kong’s tramways have long been woven into the city’s collective memory, carrying generations of people and the stories that have shaped their journeys,” said Ruby Kwan, Marketing Director, CTF Life. “Every aspiration tells a story. Some stay with us for life, while others evolve as we move through different stages and embrace new possibilities. Yet each has the power to inspire us to grow, explore and move forward with purpose.
“The ‘Aspiration Ride’ is a key element of an integrated campaign designed to bring the conversation around aspirations into everyday life. Through outdoor advertising, creator collaborations and digital storytelling, we hope to encourage people to reflect on what matters most to them and recognise that every aspiration represents a future worth pursuing. At CTF Life, we are committed to walking alongside our customers through every life stage across our four brand pillars of Wellbeing, Growth, Health and Wealth, helping them pursue their aspirations with confidence by providing the right support along the way.”
The campaign also includes a tram-shelter advertisement on Paterson Street in Causeway Bay, extending the activation into one of Hong Kong’s busiest districts. A series of promotional videos featuring influencers, CTF Life Planner, and other members of the community, each representing different life stages and perspectives, will further support post-launch awareness. Through personal stories spanning childhood curiosities, evolving ambitions and creative passions, the videos illustrate that aspirations do not follow a single path. Instead, they show how encouragement, preparation and support can help turn them into possibilities. Through digital and social media storytelling, these relatable journeys will invite audiences across the city to reflect on their own aspirations and the people who help make them possible.
In a city that is always in motion, the “Aspiration Ride” offers a gentle reminder that it is worth looking up from the journey and remembering what set it in motion. Aspirations may differ in scale and destination, but each represents a meaningful reason to keep moving forward. Through the campaign, CTF Life aims to spark conversations on how aspirations evolve throughout life, and to encourage people to pursue them with confidence, knowing they are supported every step of the way.

JAKARTA, Sept 3, 2026 - Garuda Indonesia is offering 170,845 domestic roundtrip seats at no additional fare to eligible international passengers flying to Indonesia from 14 origin cities across 10 countries, as the national flag carrier seeks to encourage travellers to extend their journeys beyond the country’s main international gateways.
Available for travel from 1 August to 30 November 2026, the Free Domestic Flight program connects Garuda Indonesia’s international network with destinations across the archipelago, allowing eligible passengers holding roundtrip international tickets to Indonesia to add a domestic roundtrip journey as part of their itinerary.
Carrying the spirit of #DiscoverMoreIndonesia, the initiative is designed to encourage international arrivals to visit more than one destination during a single trip, supporting longer stays and a wider distribution of tourism spending beyond major gateways such as Jakarta and Denpasar.
The program also provides additional connectivity for members of the Indonesian diaspora, Indonesian migrant workers and Indonesian citizens returning from overseas who wish to continue their journeys to their home regions or other destinations across the country.
Garuda Indonesia Marketing Group Head Prina Eka Putri said the initiative strengthens Indonesia’s travel proposition by combining the airline’s international reach with the breadth of its domestic network.
“Indonesia offers far more than a single destination. By making onward domestic travel easier, we want international travellers to stay longer, explore more regions and experience more of what Indonesia has to offer,” Prina said.
She added that the integration of international and domestic connectivity provides Garuda Indonesia with a differentiated proposition as regional destinations compete for international visitor traffic.
“The proposition is simple: come to Indonesia, then discover more of Indonesia. Our network allows us to make that journey increasingly seamless and valuable for travellers,” she said.
Garuda Indonesia Southeast Asia Branch Manager and Head of the Free Domestic Flight Project Management Office Agny Gallus Pratama said the allocation of more than 170,000 seats was designed to increase the potential economic value generated by each international arrival.
“The opportunity is not only to bring more travellers into Indonesia, but to enable each arrival to reach more destinations,” Gallus said. “When visitors travel further and stay longer, the economic impact can extend to hotels, restaurants, local transportation, tourism operators and MSMEs across the regions.”
By connecting international traffic more directly with its domestic network, Garuda Indonesia expects the program to help disperse visitor flows and tourism spending more widely across Indonesia.
The initiative also supports the airline’s competitiveness in international markets by leveraging the breadth of its domestic network to offer travellers easier access to multiple destinations within a single Indonesia itinerary.
Through this international-to-domestic connectivity, Garuda Indonesia aims to create greater value from each international arrival while enabling more destinations and local tourism ecosystems to benefit from the movement of international travellers.
Further information on eligibility, booking procedures, participating flights, travel periods, available routes and terms and conditions is available through Garuda Indonesia’s official Free Domestic Flight webpage.
